Sir — This refers to the article, “Hate-India icon has a change of heart” (October 22) by Rajesh Singh. India will need 10 years of Modi Government to be treated with respect by America or China. Jawaharlal Nehru and his family members’ disastrous management of the Indian economy and defence has brought about this sorry state of affairs. Pakistan will, as usual, be used by the US to trouble India. Fortunately, we now have a strong and pragmatic Government.
