What does one make out of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) virtual ID drive to mask the Aadhaar numberIJ Coming at a time when The Tribune has laid bare the holes in the claim of UIDAI, the introduction of Virtual l ID virtually falsifies its own statement.
What more evidence does one need to prove that Aadhaar is susceptible to breachesIJ While one must applaud the UIDAI for coming out with the Virtual ID in double quick time, what one would request the authority is to pay heed to reports which surface on Aadhaar and take action. No one is infallible and so is Aadhaar data. Only when one makes use of a product, he/she can come to know of the merits and demerits of the same.
