Sir — This refers to the editorial, “India keeps WTO word” (November 15). A contributor to a leading business daily had made the two criticisms the editorial has mentioned: That the Modi Government had gone back on the earlier regime’s commitment to the world community, and that India stood isolated as a result of the action. It looks like the previous Congress-led UPA had approved the original agreement without even reading the fine print. Union Minister of State for Commerce Nirmala Sitharaman has done an excellent job in getting the revised deal through.
