Sir — This refers to the editorial, “A Government of doers” (July 6). The ease, comfort and confidence with which the new inductees were selected through a synergy between the Prime Minister, the BJP, and the Prime Minister’s Office, with a few dropped and others promoted, while others had their portfolios shifted either for ‘better’ or ‘worse’, must certainly be a cause for envy for former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, considering how severely he himself was crippled to take such decisions.
