This refers to the report, “SC orders CBI to probe Vyapam scam, deaths” (July 9). Now that the apex court has ordered a CBI probe into the Vyapam scam, the Congress should stop demanding the resignation of for Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Unless Mr Singh’s guilt is proven by the CBI, demanding his resignation makes no sense. The Congress should also not disrupt Parliament during the Monsoon Session. A lot of important issues are waiting for clearance, so its important to ensure smooth functioning.
