This refers to the report, “Ramayana not a work of fiction” (June 15) by Kumar Chellappan. Contrary to the claims made in the report, there are other experts who believe that the epic was written well before the birth of lord Ram. It’s best if this debate is closed and one focuses on the character of lord Rama and his virtues of responsibility, love and courage. These can inspire a man to become a superman over time.
