Sir — This refers to reports that senior BJP leader and film star Shatrughan Sinha has been, of late, virtually challenging his party’s leadership to sack him. Mr Sinha has every right to feel upset by the treatment he has received from the party’s senior brass. He has not been recognised either for his contribution to the party over years or for his seniority and status in Bihar.
He had been a Union Minister during Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s time, but was sidelined after the 2014 lok Sabha election, much to the disappointment of several thousands of his fans across the country. However, this legendary actor has the potential and the credentials to bounce back.
