This refers to the editorial, “Despicable discourse” (November 20). Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar has come up with another of his trademark verbal volleys. He has trained his guns at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by stating that relations between India and Pakistan will improve only when Mr Modi is removed from office. Although Mr Aiyar is well known for his contrarian views, one expects him to show some restraint especially when he is outside India.
