Sir — This refers to the article, “Under Kejriwal, Delhi a dysfunctional anarchy” (January 28) by Sandhya Jain. We have lost the ability to think clearly. We borrow our concepts from abroad, but because we do not have a nuanced understanding of them, we think of them as rules, and not as life in its complexity. We must regain a renewed understanding of our cultural complexity, and unite technology with our cultural values. 

This can only be done in the mind, and at a subtle level, so that psychology and practice are unified, and the former enlightens the latter. Else, we will have good-feelings for do-gooders, but these do-gooders are not smart enough to do things that uplift and strengthen the nation.
