Sir — This refers to the article, “Anatomy of lynching and violence” (July 31) by Rinku Ghosh. Why just blame the Government for instances of mob lynchingij People take the law in their hands when the judiciary fails to deliver in a time-bound manner. There are some 3.3 crore pending cases in all Indian courts across the country and typically, it takes years, if not decades, for one to get justice. The judiciary must be asked some tough questions.
