Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Virat stupidity” (December 21). This is not for the first time when a motor mouth has put the BJP into an embarrassing situation. It is disheartening at a time when our Prime Minister is working hard to not only put India firmly on the world map but ensure that we usher into a new era with no gap between India and Bharat. Issues like these gives the Opposition an opportunity to push the BJP into a corner on a platter. leaders like Panna lal Shakya are present in every party and they need to be taught the right lesson. It is good that the BJP has distanced itself from his comments.
