Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Big mockery of justice” (April 12). The Indian citizen accused by Pakistan for being a spy and tried by a military court is a threat to India’s security and democracy. In the world of intelligence, an official undercover, who holds a diplomatic passport, should have diplomatic immunity as well. The non-official cover (NOC), in which a spy enters a foreign country holding valid travel documents, if caught, is tried by the country’s law. The solution to such a situation is also an exchange of such people. In Kulbhushan Jadhav’s case, as well there should be a settlement.
