Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Shooting politics down” (October 7). The surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army across the line of Control invited applause from all sections of society, but the demand for proof by some politicians is unwarranted. There’s no need for the Government to give proof about the surgical strike, as it would endanger the Indian Army and the security of our country.
