Sir — This refers to the editorial, “The pollution explosion” (November 2). The national capital has become a gas chamber due to the increasing level of air pollution. Burning of crackers during Diwali has worsened the situation. Children and the elderly people are the worst hit due to this problem. Sadly, people are not paying heed to the severity of the problem. By doing this, they are only digging graves for themselves. The Government must take stringent measures to curb the pollution levels, else living in Delhi will become increasingly fatal.
