Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Mother attains sainthood” (September 6). Mother Teresa’s service to the poor has no match. While on the one hand, she dedicated her life to serving the poor, on the other, financial funding to her organisation has come under the scanner. She allegedly indulged in religious conversions using foreign funds. These allegations have tarnished her sainthood.
