Sir — This refers to the article, “Philosophy of life, on the beach” (April 17) by Gautam Pandey. Our natural environment is a precious commodity, and all efforts should be made to preserve it for future generations.
To ensure that we do not leave a barren, depleted and damaged legacy, we must find and implement means and methods to balance the needs of urban development and rural security with the beauties and wonders of our diverse nature.
