Sir — This refers to the article, “london horror: West must stop self-kicking” (March 27) by Balbir Punj. It is praiseworthy that the writer acknowledges the brainwashing of Muslim children in madrassas all over the world into a word-conquering, exclusivist version of Islam as a root cause of terror.
However, the basis for this type of brain-washing in madrassas also needs to be brought out into the open and scrutinised threadbare.
