Sir — This refers to the various steps that the Modi Government has been taking to bring the administration back on track, with the latest being the Cabinet Secretary’s directive to all departments that they must improve the work environment and ensure that their officials arrive to work on time. Opposition parties want the Prime Minister Modi to deliver from day one. They have been taunting him on his promise to bring achche din.
The fact is that Mr Modi and his team have been taking crucial steps which will begin to show results in due course of time. The people will realise that things cannot dramatically improve in a few weeks, and certainly not in the first 100 days of the Government.
