Sir — This refers to the report, “I won’t raise ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogan, says Owaisi” (March 15). All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen leader Asaduddin Owaisi might have been in a political mood while delivering a hate-speech against the RSS, but he should not forget that Bharat Mata is a symbol of respect given to this very land, where we are born.
