This refers to the article, “Going beyond the OROP imbroglio” (November 26) by Deepak Sinha. Procrastination and piecemeal disclosure, coupled with divisive politics on the issue, is unfortunate. The silent majority of veterans is watching the games played by political leaders and bureaucrats.
The issue must be immediately resolved in a just, transparent and fair manner. The onus is on the Union Government.
