Sir — This refers to the article, “Need for restoration of faith in democracy” (August 6) by Swapan Dasgupta. The writer has rightly said that large number of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs, in both Houses need to improve their performance.
The BJP itself will have to recalibrate its approach towards the opposition parties and the media. Prime Minister Narendra Modi rightly pointed out the difference between a good Government and the quality of democracy. It is also a fact that public most administrations need immediate development.
