Though Indira Gandhi will be remembered by the nation for a historic and unprecedented victory in the 1971 India-Pakistan war, it is beyond understanding how and why Rajiv Gandhi dominates amongst the Nehru-Gandhi family in the naming of schemes, awards, institutions wherever the Congress had ruled.
Rather, Rajiv Gandhi was the most inexperienced person to become the Prime Minister. His tenure was marked by failures. The Union Government should move ahead and rename the schemes, awards, institutions etc that are presently monopolised by the Nehru-Gandhi family.
