Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Step towards reform” (November 14). The Opposition, which has expressed resentment against Prime Minister Modi’s demonetisation drive, lacks credible logic. Their arguments are confined to the difficulties being faced by the common man who have been standing in long queues to exchange old notes and withdraw cash to meet vital domestic needs. It is true that the launch of a huge monetary reform, aimed to curb black money menace and corruption, has caused inconvenience to the public, but the future will certainly be bright.
