This refers to the article, “One speaks, the other connects with people” (February 1) by Ashok Malik. For the Congress, the Nehru-Gandhi family is becoming a burden and not an inspiration to promote the larger needs of the country.
Its vice president is neither Rajiv Gandhi nor a charismatic figure like Indira Gandhi. But he loves to play a role behind the curtain. Mr Rahul Gandhi is an amateur who loves to day-dream rather than provide solutions to problems. Idealism and empty talk are not enough. People want relief from the corrupt Congress-led UPA Government.
Politicians need dedication, merit and charisma to defeat opposite groups. Mr Gandhi lacks the basic qualities of a good leader that Mr Narendra Modi has. People cannot understand his actual stand on corruption, system, social justice, diplomacy, and other policies. Is he in the opposition or on the ruling sideIJ He is following the Aam Aadmi Party's technique to communicate to the ‘class' people through social media.
