According to some reports, Mr Rahul Gandhi is to be made the president of the Congress. But the people have voted out the Congress led by the Sonia Gandhi-Rahul Gandhi combine in the lok Sabha election. It is not the people's wish that the two of them should lead the party. Mr Gandhi is missing from Parliament when important debates are taking place. Perhaps he knows that his remarks are of no value for the people at large. He must have gone for self-introspection on how to make a comeback, and to do so, he has decided to cut himself away from the crowd.
The best course of action for Mr Gandhi would be to quit politics instead of dream to serve the people through political means. There are hundreds of ways that he can find to be of service to society, as an individual. He can even form a pressure group to push for people-friendly measures.
