Sir — Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar has sparked yet another controversy while speaking at the Karachi literature Festival, where he said that he received “much more hatred in India” than the love he receives in Pakistan.
Earlier, during the Gujarat election, he was suspended from the party for his ‘neech’ remarks against the Prime Minister. Congress President Rahul Gandhi and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi must take a call if the party should continue bearing the heavy burden of Aiyar. If the Congress does not get rid of this nuisance, the process of complete drowning of the already sinking ship will become even more faster.
Words spoken by Aiyar should be probed carefully to ascertain if a case can be filed against him. A complete social and political boycott of notorious Pakistani friend holding Indian citizenship is the need of the hour.
