Sir — There is anxiety about the late arrival of monsoon. If the total rainfall comes to around 95 per cent of normal rainfall, then there is not much to worry about. But with pollution at its highest level, the weather including rainfall is unpredictable.
Accordingly, the Government must plan for it. Though there is water shortage all over the world, enough planning for water reservoirs must be done for agricultural purposes.
Rain water must be preserved by some scientific methods to use and reuse. Scientists must work to preserve rainwater from this objective.
