Sir — This refers to the article, “The Uttarakhand disaster” (May 20) by Sandeep Bamzai. It was distressing to note that your columnist seems to have thrown objectivity to the wind. While commenting on the events in Arunachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, which followed a similar pattern of disarray and infighting in the Congress, the writer mouthed the anti-Modi, anti-BJP propaganda lines.
Nine Congress MlAs revolted against their Chief Minister, reducing the Government to a minority. The appropriation Bill was falsely declared as ‘passed’. Bamzai did not say a word against the ruling party’s internal disunity and related developments.
