Sir — This refers to the report, “BJP-Paswan deal just a constituency away” (February 25). We had seen in the past that Mr Ram Vilas Paswan had aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party and then with the Congress.
Now that he seems to be returning to the BJP-led NDA and dumping the Congress-led UPA, we have no choice but to accept the reality that no one is forever made-for-one-another in politics . But Mr Paswan’s acceptance of the ground reality is good in the sense that the move could at least be a pre-poll commitment rather than a manoeuvre after the results are out. Therefore, Mr Paswan’s lok Janshakti Party cannot be blamed later for the misuse of its vote-bank.
