Sir — This refers to the editorial, “The purveyors of suffering” (November 28). It is remarkable that a US agency had to measure the misery of Indians living through the Congress-led UPA rule.
Those who live in India know how true the findings of the Gallup report are. The country will rank amongst the worst in terms of effectively tackling health, employment, corruption and environmental degradation.
