Sir — This refers to the editorial “Too many cooks spoil the mandate” (October 10) by Kalyani Shankar. The recent pre-poll survey has concluded that the BJP should really do well in both Haryana and Maharashtra elections.
This should be the case so that we do not have a fractured mandate, which will not be in the interest of these States. But if that does not happen then what will happenIJ The BJP will either tie-up with the Shiv Sena and the Indian National lok Dal or the Haryana Janhit Congress in Maharashtra and Haryana respectively. Because then, the BJP’s allies’ management skills will be tested to the hilt.
Hopefully, the BJP will be able to sort that out between the clash of egoistic personalities.
