This refers to the editorial, “Still waiting for Rahul” (September 10). Is Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi not yet ready to take his rightful place which was pre-ordained since his birthIJ People were hopeful, that the rejuvenated, post-sabbatical edition of Mr Gandhi would convince the Congress veterans to elevate him to the top slot.
But no, on the contrary, Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been re-elected for one year. Maybe, another year in apprenticeship should help Mr Gandhi discover the joys of political struggle and he can continue his education in the virtues of humility, diligence and persistence.
