Sir — This refers to the editorial, “JNU issue and beyond” (February 15). It is surprising that various political parties like the Congress, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) etc, have come out in support of the students who raised anti-national slogans. Many ex-Servicemen, who are an alumni of the Jawaharlal Nehru University, too have threatened to return their degrees. Clearly, the situation is being used for political benefits. It will be better if we let the law take its own course.
