Unfortunately, dynasty rule by the Congress still finds many takers in the regional factions of Indian politics. It is the manner of treating the party synonymously with the Nehru-Gandhi family that has set the Congress apart from the other political dispensations.
So, is the first family of Indian politics to be blamed for all that ails the Congress todayIJ With the Congress’s reign in the country exemplifying corruption in many forms, as has been alleged, does it then imply that all the acts of omission and commission attributed to the Congress were at the behest of the familyIJ
let us not forget that with coalitions being the order of the day, it is the alliance partners that play a major role in the formation of Governments. Parties don’t join hands without extracting their pound of flesh.
