This refers to the report, “Is fat wallet plan justified for MlAsIJ” (October 8). The recommendation of a salary hike of Delhi MlAs, if implemented, will surpass the salaries drawn by sitting MPs in the national capital. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, before coming to power, had denounced a hike in the salary of political representatives. A committee should be formed to fix the salaries of the politicians. They should not be their own boss.
