PM who allows himself to be 'misled' must quit

This refers to the editorial, “JPC buries the truth” (April 20). The Congress  used its brutal majority in earlier JPC reports also to clear its leaders against whom strong prima facie charges were made. But the ruling party's bluster and the confidence with which its arm-twists its allies/supporting parties to push through the Joint Parliamentary Committee report may backfire this time.

The selective JPC draft says the Prime Minister was mislead by the former Union Telecommunications Minister A Raja. On previous other scams like the S-band allocation, the coal block allotment, CWG, the helicopter deals and cash-for-vote, the Prime Minister has said that he was mislead by his colleagues. He must introspect whether he has lived up to his clean image and discharged his constitutional responsibilities in the national interest. The nation can no more afford to be lead by a leader who is being ‘mislead’ by his Cabinet/party colleagues and bureaucrats.
