Sir — This refers to the article, “Mumbai march and implications” (March 14) by Navneet Anand. Hats off to the residents of Mumbai for their warm welcoming and hospitality to poor farmers. likewise, I salute the farmer’s morcha for taking the long march to Vidhan Bhavan during the day, they got a few hours rest on Sunday evening and began their walk at two in the morning.
They reached Azad Maidan before most people in the city got out of bed only not to disturb the city routine. If a large number of people decided to walk together down on one of Mumbai’s arterial roads on any working day, the city would have come to a grind halt.
