This refers to the article, “When humanity died a thousand deaths” (August 15) by Vijay Kumar Malhotra. The writer himself is a victim of the partition of India and he reminds us of the horror that Muslim league hooligans wrought on the beleaguered Hindus and Sikhs. Pakistan has reduced the non-Muslim minorities, mainly the Hindus, from 22 per cent in 1947 to about two per cent now. Its declaration as an Islamic republic was a betrayal of the rights of Hindus and other non-Muslim minorities.
Today, on what basis does Pakistan want peace with India when it sends terrorists into Jammu & Kashmir and other parts of India to play havoc, prints fake Indian currency notes to destabilise the Indian economy and shelters arch terrorists like Dawood Ibrahim et alIJ
India should isolate Pakistan by not talking to it unless it stops all terrorist activities from its soil and hands over Dawood Ibrahim and other terror operatives wanted by India.
