PDP regime is making things difficult for BJP

This refers to the report, “BJP slams PDP's unilateral call” (March 9). Ever since Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has assumed the reins of a coalition Government in the State, he has indulged in appeasing the separatists and Pakistan. It seems that he is not interested in running the Government according to the Common Minimum Programme which is supposed to be the guiding force for both the PDP and the BJP. Now, by releasing separatist leader and mastermind of the 2010 violence, Masarat Alam, without consulting the BJP, he has raked up yet another controversy.

Mr Sayeed is misusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's goodwill gesture, which the latter showed towards the people of the State by allying with the PDP. His arbitrary style of functioning has put the BJP in a fix. If he continues in such a manner, the BJP cannot afford to support the PDP any longer.
