Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Pellet gun alternatives” (August 29). It is high time that normalcy be restored in Kashmir. It is the responsibility of the Union Government and the State Government to take measures to maintain peace in the border State. local people are suffering unnecessarily, they must be taken into confidence. Also, there is no point initiating dialogue with Pakistan. Instead, it is time to pay them back in the same coin.
