This refers to the editorial, “Mallya in real trouble” (April 18). The UPA Government did not initiate any action against liquor baron Vijay Mallya when it was in power. Without proper security, the lending of loan reached to a whopping `9,000 crore. This is not understandable.
When ordinary citizens go to the bank to ask for a loan, the bank asks for security. How is it that Mallya was given a long ropeIJ Perhaps the BJP Government is paying for the sins of the UPA Government.
