Pakistan is incorrigible, can't trust it anymore

This refers to the editorial, “The real Sharif, please” (December 13). It is immature on Pakistan's Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's part to keep changing his stand with regard to India.

By dropping his earlier talk of war and moving to peace now, he has strengthened our belief that he cannot be trusted, come what may. New Delhi must take note of this development and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh must not repeat the mistake he made in the US where he met his Pakistani counterpart despite stiff opposition back home.

We must not engage with Pakistan at any level, be it in terms of bilateral trade engagement or cultural and other issues. We have seen enough of Pakistan's double standards in the past to engage with them any further. And not only that, we must raise the issue of cross-border terrorism at all global forums so that Pakistan is isolated internationally. Hopefully, Pakistan will then mend its ways.
