Sir — This refers to the article, “Akhilesh Yadav: Bound by obstinate old guard” (June 29) by Rajesh Singh. When Akhilesh Yadav became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, there were huge expectations from him. This, despite the fact that he belonged to the Samajwadi Party and was the son of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
It is unfortunate that despite giving his best, Akhilesh Yadav could not change the face of the State which is known for poor law and order situation. For Akhilesh Yadav, his father has been the biggest hurdle.
