Past experience of a majority of politicians has shown that they are not faithful. In the recent Presidential election, the ruling party alliance had selected a good person from a specific caste; and in reply, the Opposition party alliance also chose another good person but from the same caste group. Thus, if in such a high level democratic election caste had a place, though latently, then, how can we expect caste considerations, to be weeded out from our system in future.
