Sir — This refers to the editorial, “Recognising a friend” (June 7). Bhutan, Nepal and Sri lanka, with populations that have strong connections with India, should get priority in India’s foreign policy.
Bangladesh and Pakistan deserve a different kind of attention, as these countries say one thing and do another. Both have hurt India’s interests in multiple ways. The sealing of borders with added military presence should be the Union Government’s top priority.
