Sir — This refers to the article, “Flip side of Chinese progress in Tibet” (January 15) by Claude Arpi. India should feel sorry over losing the prospect of an independent Tibet as a buffer state between India and an expansionist China, due the wrong policies of Jawaharlal Nehru.
