This refers to the editorial, “State of terror address” (January 14). It is shocking that it took so long for US President Barack Obama to realise the fact that Pakistan is safe haven for terrorists. While all these years, when US President Barack Obama was at the helm of affairs, as the biggest superpower of the world, he and his country financially supported Pakistan.
I agree with the views expressed in the editorial that, while the rest of the world barring China has isolated Pakistan, it is the US which has not walked the talk yet. So, Mr Obama’s statement is not going to have any impact on India’s suffering with regards to Pakistan.
