This refers to the editorial, “They deserve no mercy” (March 5). I fully agree with the views expressed in the editorial that the Government must ensure that the killers of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi are not spared. They should pay the full price for the crime they committed. Also, if they are released, it will send the wrong message to other criminals, who too will demand pardon. A good decision on part of the Union Government is expected in this regard.
