Sir — This refers to the report, “We are against appeasement, not Muslims’ franchise: Sena” (April 13). The report truly exposes the tendency of political parties to appease the Muslim community. The Shiv Sena is right in saying that the Muslims have been used as a vote-bank, and their socio-economic structure has been in ruins by this kind of politics. But the Shiv Sena’s demand to revoke the voting rights of the Muslims is totally uncalled for. I hope the ruling BJP does not forget its slogan of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
