Consider the situation today: Most of the countries across the world are ignoring India or giving it short-shrift. Recall how disdainfully Maldives treated us or how the Chinese troops intruded in our territoryIJ Our economy has hit rock bottom; our external and internal security is weak and there is complete policy paralysis in all areas of governance. Unprecedented corruption, unending scams, lack of employment opportunities and probably the worst period for industry are what the Congress-led UPA Government will be best remembered for.
Unfortunately, a sizeable population of the country still labours under the notion that as long as it is not affected, it would not mind voting for the Congress. God help this nation and its citizens!
